Consultation

Know the whole path before you take the first step

Choosing subjects, switching into the British system, planning for a university major — these decisions are made once and shape years. Talk to an Acadexa advisor first.

Option one

Free Consultation

5–10 minutesWith an advisorNo charge

A short call to understand what you need. This is not an academic assessment — it's how we point you to the right course or tutor quickly.

What we'll ask

  • Which subjects or materials the student needs
  • Which Grade or Year they're in now
  • The goal — raise a grade, start from scratch, or revise before an exam
  • Whether one particular subject is causing the trouble
  • Whether you've tried an online teacher or tutor for it before
  • Roughly what budget and timing suit you
What you get A recommendation for a suitable course or tutor. It is a starting direction, not a full evaluation of the student's level.

How the paid consultation works

Five stages, from booking to a plan you can hold

Nothing here is improvised on the call. The advisor studies the student's answers first, so the session is spent explaining the plan rather than gathering facts.

1

Before the session

Booking & questionnaire

You book and pay, then fill in a detailed questionnaire. It is not a test — no marks, no right answers.

  • Which system the student comes from — National, Azhari, Languages, or already IG
  • The Grade or Year they're in right now
  • A university major in mind — medicine, engineering, business, or not decided yet
  • Where they hope to study afterwards — Egyptian university, abroad, or on a scholarship
  • General strengths and constraints — languages, time available, support at home
2

Analysis

Before the call

The advisor reads every answer and works out how far the student actually is from the British system — then drafts the roadmap before you meet.

  • Is the move from the current system into IG straightforward, or are there gaps?
  • Common example: students from National schools often need English support first
  • A first draft of the roadmap is prepared and reviewed
3

The session

30–45 minutes, live

We walk the student and parents through the proposed pathway together, and leave time for the questions parents actually ask.

  • The proposed pathway, explained step by step
  • Why these subjects specifically, and why in this order
  • Straight answers to "is the transition hard?" and "will he catch up?"
4

Delivery

Full Pathway Report

A written report you keep and can return to — not notes from a phone call. The six sections are set out below.

5

Follow-up

Every term

A review at the end of each academic term: is the student still on the roadmap, and does anything need adjusting after this term's results?

Stage 4 in detail

What the Full Pathway Report contains

Six sections, written for the parent as much as the student, so the plan survives past the call.

01

Starting point

An honest assessment of where the student stands today, including the gaps that typically come with the system they're arriving from.

02

Stage map

From the current Grade or Year through to the end of secondary: which subjects are required at each stage, and the reason for each one.

03

Milestones

The dates that matter — AS and A-Level exam sessions, registration deadlines, and the points where a decision can't be delayed further.

04

University pathway

How the subjects chosen now affect acceptance into the major the student is aiming for, and what a change of mind would cost later.

05

Load per stage

What to take and how many subjects at a time — practical advice for a whole academic year, not for a single subject in isolation.

06

Recommended next step

The Acadexa courses that begin this pathway, so the plan has a first action rather than ending as a document.

Not sure which one you need? Start with the free call.

Ten minutes is usually enough to tell whether you need a course recommendation or a full pathway plan. We'll tell you honestly which of the two fits.
